About the Project
The project included a new 4-story main administrative building, head house, K9 kennels, commercial truck inspection docks, seizure vault, and in case of emergency hazard material area. Civil package included demolition of selected existing buildings and infrastructure, constructing retaining walls, compacting soil, and installing utilities. All work was performed under high security while one of America’s busiest land ports – the main entry point for fresh produce entering from Mexico – remained fully operational. LEED Gold.
